For the week ending October 12, 2014 new home traffic and sales activity remained flat with just under 120 reported net sales (0.6 per subdivision). Activity has been at this level for about a month now. Traffic has also remained around 15 per subdivision per week over the same time frame. Lennar Homes led all builders with 25 reported sales. KB Home and Richmond American also reached double-digit net sales. These three builders accounted for nearly 44% of sales and 33% of reporting subdivisions.
Lennar also began reporting their community West End in the Providence master plan in the NW valley. The community features products ranging from 1670 to 2713 square feet and $255,900 to $302,990.
Interestingly, there were price increases among a number of communities, particularly by DR Horton, despite the lackluster sales pace.
