Las Vegas Weekly New Home Traffic & Sales News

For the week ending June 22, 2014, New Home Subdivision Traffic across Clark County again dropped slightly for the fifth straight week, while Net Sales numbers (per subdivision) returned to 0.8 after falling last week.  Looking at buyer traffic (defined as the number of "buying units" that enter the sales office, including be-backs) per subdivision, Shea Homes and William Lyon were able to post a number of 38 buying units/subdivision.  Shea, of course, only has one active Subdivision, the adult living community of Ardiente in North Las Vegas.  William Lyon's traffic numbers have been boosted by the great response to their high-end Sterling Ridge product lines in Summerlin.

Looking at Net Sales, four builders reached doubles figures for the week with DR Horton on top with 26 (19% Market Share) across 24 subdivisions (14% Market Share).  Horton also reported the top individual subdivision with 6 Net Sales at Whitney Mesa in Henderson.

Richmond American began reporting their Granite Falls community in the NW and Storybook Homes debuted Ravens Crossing, a 14 lot neighborhood in South LV.

Prices across the market remained stable except for less than a handful of slight jumps, all in the SW area.
