For the week ending September 7, 2014 the new home segment of the Las Vegas area housing market showed a bit of a slow down when it comes to Net Sales. As subscribers to our Weekly Traffic & Sales Watch have already seen, The Net Sold per Subdivision figure fell to below 0.7 for the first time since early July and only the eighth time in 2014. Only four builders reached doubled digit sales with Lennar Homes leading the way with 18 (19% market share). Pardee's Living Smart at Eldorado Heights in North Las Vegas reported 5 net sales, the single highest total for any subdivision for the week. Traffic numbers however, remained steady for the market as a whole.
KB Home debuted two new communities in the SW valley with Reserves at Buffalo and Landings at Durango with 87 and 34 lots respectively. Richmond American began reporting Mackenzie Parc in the NW with products from 2,500 to 3,800 square feet priced in the mid-$300,000s. Finally, Madori Gardens from Ryland Homes, a 64 unit attached product in Henderson, made its first appearance in the report.
