For the week ending January 25, 2015, the new home segment in Clark County had a very strong showing for the second straight week. The Net Sales per Subdivision jumped to 0.9 and the Traffic per Subdivision made a big jump to 22.4. Both figures are the highest they've been since the summer of last year. The sales were helped by all but one reporting builder having at least 1 Net Sale, with 3 of those (DR Horton, Lennar Homes, and Richmond American) with over 20 Sales for the week. Driftwood Bay by DR Horton was the top selling Subdivision for the week with 5 Net Sales, bringing their 2015 total to 9.
The only newly reporting community this week was Sabella Estates in the South Sub-Market by KB Home (their second new project in as many weeks). The project features 60 lots with products ranging from 2530 to 4343 square feet and $334,990 to $414,990. They reported a very strong opening week for traffic, as did Landings at San Severo, which opened last week.
These two are just the first of many new projects set to come online in the near future, so time will tell if this influx of new product will maintain and expand the current positive "micro-trend" or not.
