For the week ending October 4, 2015 the new home sales market in Southern Nevada moved along at a similar pace with Net Sales per Subdivision at 0.6, up a tick from the previous week, and buyer traffic dropping slightly for the forth straight week according to our Weekly Traffic and Sales Watch.
While builder total net sales were generally lower, there were still six companies that reported double-digits, led by KB Home who reported 23 which is over 16% of the overall total. Pulte Homes also had a strong week as the only builder with more than one active project that averaged more than one sale per subdivision.

There were three newly reporting projects for the week starting with Talus 2 by Harmony Homes. This is another product line for them in the Sunrise Highlands area of the East sub-market with 57 lots with plans maxing out at 3,024 sqft and prices under $280,000. Second, we have Acadia in Henderson from Ryland Homes containing 55 lots on American Pacific Dr. just west of Stephanie St. Finally, William Lyon Homes debuted another luxury project in the Ridges at Summerlin called Silver Ridge. The community offers three different floorplans with base prices starting at nearly $1.3 million.
