For the week ending October 23rd, new home sales activity remained stagnant while buyer traffic, while still settling in to its typical, lower seasonal level, remained positive and nicely above the levels seen during the same time in 2014 and 2015. For the first time in recent memory we are not reporting any builders with over 20 net sales for the week. Activity was led by KB Home with 17 reported sales.
KB also reported two new product lines for their community Chandler Park, Landings and Reserves. Chandler Park is located near Patrick and Ft. Apache in the SW valley, just west of the 215 and has 94 homesites between the two collections.
Pinnacle Homes also began reporting Villaggio Estates, another of their small communities inside the northwest beltway curve with estate homes priced from the mid-900,000s and up.
Signature Homes debuted Silver Estates, a 13 lot community also in the northwest. The community is somewhat unique in that there were five previously built homes that were not lived in that have been re-done and upgraded to go with the eight other fresh lots.
The final new community reporting this week is Ironwood by Toll Brothers. Another new project in Summerlin village 16, Ironwood's product starts at just over 2,500 square feet and $579,995.
