The new home segment of the Las Vegas housing market remained solid for the week ending May 1st, averaging one net sale per reporting subdivision for the second straight week. There were some very strong individual builder totals with a half-dozen companies reporting over 20 net sales. These were once again led by DR Horton who brought their overall net sales total for the month of April to an impressive 145 (over 50 more than the next builder). Pulte's Copper Ridge continued to post strong sales totals leading all projects with nine for the week. The community reported 16 sales in April and since opening last year has averaged over 10 sales per month, a very strong number.
New subdivisions to our report this week were Toccata by Richmond American and Vistaview by Warmington Residential. Toccata is a new subdivision in the Cadence master plan in Henderson featuring all single-story plans ranging from 1741 to 2155 square feet. Vistaview is located in the SW and offers price per square foot levels starting at $106.
