The following is a brief summary of the numbers:
For the 1st Quarter 2014 the NW and SW market areas dominated the scene as expected with nearly 30% market share each in both traffic and net sales. Comparing year-to-year, only the East market area showed a rise in net sales from 2013, mainly due to an increased number of products available there.
DR Horton and Lennar Homes distanced themselves from the competition with 425 combined Net Sales in the 1st Quarter with Lennar's Tapestry neighborhood in the NW coming out on top with 34 Net Sold. Also in the NW, the 89166 ZIP Code and MLS Area 405 displayed the highest Net Sales figures. The Top 10 Rankings by Builder, Subdivision, ZIP, and MLS Area are all contained within the report along with area breakdowns of Traffic and Net Sales by Price Range.
