For the week ending June 29, 2014, new home buyer traffic per subdivision was up to nearly 17 and net sales per subdivision jumped up to 1.1.
This leap in sales was mainly due to a huge week from DR Horton who reported 49 net sales across their 24 active subdivisions. Lennar and Richmond American also reported over 20 net sales each. These three builders accounted for just a tic under 50% of all sales for the week. They also make up nearly 30% of all reporting subdivisions.
This week we also saw a couple of major changes/additions. Dunhill Homes is now officially making the change to Century Communities (based in Colorado), who purchased all of Dunhill's Las Vegas holdings back in April. We also added Summit Homes (based in Washington state), who is now selling Claremont, Emery, & Westcott in Providence after taking them over from Warmington Residential. Richmond American also began reporting Monte Bello in Summerlin with prices ranging from $474,950 to $614,950. Stonegate from Lennar and Crossings from Desert Wind also made their debut in the report this week.
