For the week ending February 24, 2019 the new home segment of the Las Vegas area housing market reported above average net sales numbers for the third time this year with an average of 0.8 net sales per reporting subdivision.

The Cliffs at Dover, an attached product from Beazer Homes near Nellis Air Force Base and Sun City Mesquite by Del Webb Communities were the top performing projects with seven net sales apiece.  Thus far in 2019 Sun City Mesquite is the top selling new home project in Southern Nevada with 29 net sales. Interestingly, the number two spot belongs to another Active Adult community, Heritage at Cadence by Lennar Homes in Henderson.  The weekly cancellation rate came in at just under 17 percent, which has been right around average going back to the start of Q4 2018. 

Sun City Mesquite Weekly Net Sales

The only new community reporting this week was Autumn Cliffs from KB Home.  Located off of Russell Road just east of Jones Blvd., this 63 unit townhome project offers five plans ranging from 1,157 to 2,469 square feet with prices starting at $287,900.  KB has expanded their successful townhome offerings around the valley and are average close to 30 total net sales combined for these projects.
