Las Vegas new home sales and buyer traffic has remained steady for three straight weeks.

While year-over-year new home sales numbers continue to be down, the more consistent activity we have been hoping to see this spring season has presented itself to this point.  For the week ending May 12th, local homebuilders again averaged 0.8 net sales per community according to the Weekly Traffic & Sales Watch.  The top performing builders were Pulte Homes, Del Webb Communities, American West Homes, and Shea Homes, all averaging 2+ sales per project.

KB Home's Groves product line of townhomes in the Inspirada master plan in Henderson was the top selling community with seven net sales.  Overall, attached product types accounted for 19% of sales.

KB Home also had the only newly reporting community in Alder East, a 38 lot project in the southwest with base prices ranging from $284,990 to $334,990.  The community is a follow-up to Alder Landing which is directly west of the new offering, included some of the same floor plans, and sold out in September of 2018.

In our bi-weekly comprehensive pricing update, 8% of active new home plans reported an increased base price with 1.5% showing a decrease and the remainder staying unchanged.
