The second week of April saw new home net sales in Southern Nevada remained steady.

Our Weekly Traffic & Sales Watch reported a nearly identical new home net sales (new sales minus cancellations) total as the previous week.  April's pace continues to be trending to be the lowest of the year, possibly town nearly 30% from March's total (1,256).  

We reported three new communities opening last week, all of which offer detached products.  Quinn Canyon from Pulte Group via the American West Homes brand is another product line in their familiar area in the southwest near Decatur and Pyle Avenue.  It includes four floorplans (2 and 3 stories) with prices starting in the $500,000s.  Richmond American Homes began reporting two new communities for the second straight week.  Auburn Vista is the third project they have opened in Mesquite in the past year and features 49 lots with prices starting at around $350,000.  Estrella Park offers higher end single-story products up to 4,010 square feet and is just south of Ann Road near the 215.
