Local homebuilders ended January 2022 with sales slightly down from the previous two weeks, but still reported over 1,000 new home net sales for the month.

For January we are reporting over 1,000 net sales (new contracts minus cancellations) in our Weekly Traffic & Sales Watch for the first time since June 2021.  The total was however, 13 percent lower than January 2021 and two percent down from January 2019.

There were three new projects in the latest report, Willow Ranch Leaf from DR Horton, Cabaret by Richmond American,  and Walnut Grove from Storybook Homes.

Leaf at Willow Ranch is an attached product community in West Henderson with 65 home sites and prices starting just under $400,000.  Cabaret is also in Henderson, within the Cadence Master Planned Community, and offers all single-story detached homes between 2,100 and 2,700 square feet.  Walnut Grove is located in the east sub-market area at Walnut Rd. and Owens Ave. and offers four, two-story plans, one of which includes a Multi-Gen option and it is a rare detached new home community with base prices starting under $300,000.
